The Home

A custom home, opened to guests

Your group's Lake Simcoe getaway — a spacious, family-friendly custom home where everyone can spread out, stay up late, and actually relax. Sleeps up to twelve.

Two separate living rooms mean the game can play in one room while the kids — or the quiet ones — take the other. An open-concept kitchen and dining area anchors the meals and the hangouts, and the backyard takes over from there: a large deck, room to roam, and a fire pit for the end of the night.

We built this home for our own family before opening it to guests, and we host it personally — with real pride in quality, cleanliness, and a comfortable, well-run space. Meet your hosts →

Meet Your Hosts

We're Tambrie & Steven

Tambrie and Steven, your hosts at 501 Bay Stay

This home was ours before it was ever anything else. We built it. We lived in it. It's where our family gathered, where holidays were hosted, and where nights were spent around the fire.

We have two kids, run a busy real estate team, and most days feel full, fast, and a little chaotic — which is exactly why we care so much about how a space feels when you finally get to slow down.

When life took us in a different direction, we didn't want to let 501 Bay go. So we opened it up for other people to experience it the way we did. It's not set up like a typical rental — it's set up the way we'd want it: comfortable, equipped, easy to settle into. The kind of place where everyone has room, but still ends up together.

Hosting, for us, isn't just about handing over keys. It's about making sure that when you arrive, everything feels right.
